 Objectives The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is coming into force on the 25th May 2018. It will replace the current Data Protection Act 1998 and broaden the requirements of organisations that collect and process personal information. Are you ready for the changes? Do you comply?

The Agenda GDPR half day workshop will provide you with an understanding of the key changes and the impact of the new legislations, discussions of the processes that you will need to consider before becoming compliant and an opportunity to discuss any specific concerns you may have with our GDPR practitioner and Head of Compliance at Agenda, Chris Withers.

 Duration A one day course    
 Objectives Thorough and robust recruitment practices are key to hiring the right people for your business. The Agenda ‘Hire me! What could go wrong?’ interactive workshop will enable participants to develop new skills which complement their existing recruitment and interviewing methods.

In the morning session participants will learn how to identify the risks to their organisation, people risks and individuals motivation for applying for a particular job, identification of red flags in the hiring process, identification of documents and validation of genuine job candidates. Exercises will enable participants to consider hiring risks, practical tips when reviewing identity documents and practice red flag CV/ application form reviews.

The afternoon session is focused on providing a tool box of tips and techniques to enhance the interview stage of the hiring process. You will learn alternative interview techniques such as the PEACE technique, Neurolinguistic Programming, probing, body language and non-verbal clues plus have an opportunity to discuss specific recruitment challenges with our head of Life Sciences, Judith Fowlston.
