Audience

The workshop is for anyone who wants to gain an understanding of conflict and build skills around conflict management and resolution whilst understanding that some conflict is healthy - how it is resolved is key.  


 
Duration A one-day course (can be delivered in-house).
This course includes the completion and submission of a conflict resolution skills assessment prior to the workshop (approximately 20 minutes work)  
   
Objectives If we are to become competent managers of interpersonal conflicts, skills in two arenas must be mastered:

Conceptual skills:
 an individual must understand conflict's causes, styles, strategies, tactics, and world-views
Skill competence: an individual must develop a working repertoire of conflict management skills

Audience

This course benefits team leaders, project managers, supervisors and line managers. Leadership Development Programme– A Leaders Perspective: Follow a Leader’s Journey





Audience

Leaders in the Life Sciences sector who lead functional groups or departments, manage managers or are part of a senior level leadership team and with a desire to go through an in-depth programme from a leader’s perspective 


 
Duration One day a month for 6 months. This programme can be run for a single company with their own leader pipeline in-house (6-10 delegates) or for individuals across organisations that register interest and can be supplemented with additional virtual one to one leadership mentoring sessions      
Objectives Designed by a leader with close to 30 years’ experience in the pharma industry, the content has been carefully selected to cover the critical areas for new and developing leaders today.

The highly interactive modules will address real challenges, e.g. how to manage the conflicting priorities of being a member of a leadership team whilst leading another team and how to manage the burdens of time, travel, and workload. And how to do this without following the crowd and being an authentic leader.

Leadership Mentoring Programme (One on One)





Audience

I work across sectors but mainly within the pharmaceutical/biotech arena. My 25 years global senior leadership experience enables me to relate to my clients and the challenges they face. This programme is suited to a leader who is struggling to deal with:

Prioritisation (Too Much To Do – Not Enough Time)





Audience

This course benefits anyone (managers and more junior staff) wanting to boost their personal effectiveness and learn to cope more effectively with the pressures of a demanding workload and busy life. People often feel overwhelmed, find it hard to enjoy work and worry about how they are interacting with others. Objectives Prioritisation is the key to how we manage our time. It helps us to focus our time and energy on the important tasks, and not just the tasks in hand. The course goes further than personal time management as it provides insights into the challenges of managing time while working with others – both peers, managers and direct reports. It looks at practical solutions and gives easy to use tools for managing a heavy workload, reducing interruptions and effective delegation. Time is also spent on addressing personal habits (e.g. high standards/perfect performance, procrastination, email obsession) that can hinder effective working.

Audience

This workshop requires completion of a pre-course BELBIN assessment by all team members  
   
Objectives Helping the team to appreciate and value team differences and learn how to make the most of the team members’ skills, abilities and styles.

It specifically highlights individual team role preferences (based on BELBIN roles) and assesses the diversity of thinking styles within the team so the team members leave feeling motivated to consciously think about the roles they naturally play at work and the ones they COULD play to not only develop themselves but add value to the team.
