Stem cell research holds unprecedented opportunities to develop disruptive innovation in life sciences and medicine. To fully capture this potential, it is important to connect the dots between scientists and stakeholders with different backgrounds from academic research to drug discovery, from disease modelling to cell therapy.

Leveraging from the Human Induced Pluripotent Stem (iPS) Cell Initiative (HIPSCI) project, the Centre for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine is opening a ‘Stem Cell Hotel’.  The Biomedical Research Centre GMP unit and the Cell and Gene therapy Catapult are also located close by. This BioWednesday will present examples from the wide range of different translational activities taking place in Guy’s Tower.
