Leadership Seminar – Building Value in Advanced Therapies

12:30 – 20:30

Penningtons Manches, 125 Wood St, London EC2V 7AW
25 April 2017
After a promising onset followed by a series of setbacks, cell and gene therapies are now moving beyond being exciting technology to showing real potential for innovative treatments. Companies are raising money, some are getting approvals and key players seem to have regained interest in the field thanks to new technology advances. However these treatments will not be cheap and although governments are investing in early stage research, healthcare systems don’t seem to be following readily and question the relevance of supporting their high cost.

So what’s in it for the companies developing these therapies? This seminar will discuss how to build value from advanced therapies from understanding the unmet needs and optimising a challenging development pathway. It is intended for any academic or company interested in cell and gene therapy whether from an early discovery perspective or later stage development and application.
