Business Lecture: Is Blockchain the Future of Business?

14 September 2017

Hazem Danny Al-Nakib, chief innovation officer & executive adviser of Humaniq and partner at Deep Knowledge Ventures will be our guest speaker and share the present and possible future applications of blockchain especially in the financial industry and other areas.

If you’re involved in processing payments or contracts, looking for investment, dabbling in cryptocurrencies, exploring the future of finance, or just interested in the possible impact of blockchain and its impact on the future of finance then this event will be for you. Blockchain is a way of processing virtual currency transparently and securely, using software with no single central owner. The impact of blockchain is set to be wide-reaching and could be used for any repeatable transaction, whether a payment or contract, for medical record updating and identity management.

Humaniq aims to increase financial inclusion worldwide by providing new financial services to the unbanked based on Blockchain technology and biometric identification systems. With this new mobile digital economy, Humaniq will help people who are excluded from the financial system break free from poverty and improve their lives, and emerging economies shift into the cryptoeconomy. Humaniq's accelerator will act as a virtual programme for high impact technological projects looking for financing, and to launch and grow exponentially.
