What Have Brexit and Covid-19 Meant When Recruiting EU Citizens to UK Life Science Jobs?

10:00 - 11:00 Thursday, 17 June 2021

Online registration is closed but if you would like to attend please contact alicia@onenucleus.com

From the time the UK voted to leave the EU there has been uncertainty for those European citizens wishing to work in the UK and for employers seeking to retain or recruit Europeans into the future. The subsequent emergence of Covid-19 has also stimulated many to consider their work-life balance, location of choice and how effectively they can work remotely depending on their role. Since we are beginning to emerge from the pandemic and Brexit negotiations have progressed, we thought it would be timely to take stock of:

•         What employers should do now when recruiting from Europe.

•         What, if any, impacts on recruitment and staff turnover are being felt by employers.

•         What changes to working practices and consequently employment contracts should we be anticipating now?
