With a new dedicated ‘Department of Science, Innovation and Technology’, a new ‘Science & Technology Framework’, an increased and refocussed R&D Tax Credit incentive and lots of warm words of encouragement, is the UK now set to remain a Science Superpower of the future. Moreover, what will be the impact of these do these recent policy moves on attracting the required investment, people and innovation to meet a superpower’s appetite?
