Company
Sense is a start-up in vitro diagnostics company based in Cambridge and Oxford UK. The company is developing a new class of molecular diagnostic test device for a range of clinical applications. Founded by an experienced and highly successful leadership team, Sense has ambitious plans to grow from its strong foundations and become a leader in the field. The company has significant backing from leading venture capitalist investors and is currently industrialising its first commercial products whilst also working with collaborators to develop other products for custom applications.

Opportunity
This is a full-time role based at the company’s Oxford facility and reporting directly to the company’s CEO. The focus of the role is to support the successful delivery of the company’s strategic collaborations and the formation of new alliances with leading companies in the field. This will involve liaising with collaborators as well as project management and document preparation. The role could encompass other responsibilities outside of this project for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in helping develop impactful clinical diagnostic products and supporting the wider growth of a dynamic organisation.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven record of successful project delivery and strategic relationship management within the life sciences or medical devices field. They will be hands-on and flexible to taking on a variety of tasks as is typical in a small organisation. We are seeking a key member of a small team and so preference will be given to candidates who can contribute in a variety of areas to ensure successful product development and delivery of collaborative projects.

• Knowledge of product development in the IVD / Medical Devices field
• High standard of written English

• Experienced in use of relevant software e.g. Office
