PharmaVentures is a transactional advisory business whose clients are healthcare life science companies from around the world. We are recognised expert advisors in Licensing, M&A, Valuation & Fundraising for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech and diagnostics industries.
Our business is undergoing a period of growth, and we are therefore looking for talented individuals to execute new & existing projects, and ensure we fulfil client expectations to the highest standards.

The role
Working within the execution teams, you will use your scientific knowledge and commercial insight to develop the best solutions for our clients. These solutions will be underpinned by in depth client understanding and data analysis that you will have gathered. You will have the gravitas to be able communicate those solutions to our clients, and be adaptable to changes along the way.

• Responsible for communicating and liaising scientifically and commercially with life science clients
• Responsible for secondary data analysis, interpretation, and client deliverables
• Proposal development and pitch support
• White paper development
• Establish and develop relationships with new and existing clients and industry associations, both nationally and internationally through face-to-face engagement; attending partnering events and other conferences.
• Work with the Business Development team to follow up on leads and opportunities
• Giving regular project progress reports in calls and meetings.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Life Sciences, pharmacy or medical degree essential
• MBA and/or PhD would be an advantage
• Demonstrable experience with either a global Life Sciences focused consultancy/investment bank, or corporate strategy experience with a biopharma company would be an advantage
• Detailed knowledge of Oncology, CNS, Immunology or Biosimilars Sectors would be an advantage
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint essential
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sharepoint would be desirable
