Over recent months, the Board of Directors (Board) has undertaken a substantial amount of work to position the business for growth. The focus continues to be driving maximum value for shareholders with a number of key opportunities. The Company is looking to hire a commercially astute Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with a strong scientific knowledge base coupled with a business development track record from the biotech or pharma industry who will set and deliver the strategic and operational direction agreed by the Board. The CEO will report to the Chair of the Board.
This senior and influential position will be pivotal in providing leadership that enables the Company to leverage its pipeline assets and reflects an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial leader who is ready for a new, exciting challenge. There is a significant opportunity for making an impact in this highly visible and influential role.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in closing significant transactions – whether partnerships, licensing, M&A or IPO, and in raising finance for companies developing novel therapeutics or related activities.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned CEO who brings their own independent network of advisors, service providers and experts who may/can contribute to the Company’s strategy, direction and decision-making alongside the large existing network of providers and experts.
The initial time commitment is expected to be 3 days per week, and is likely to become a full-time commitment as the incumbent integrates into the business.
