We are looking for a bioinformatician to undertake a 3 months’ paid internship evaluating and benchmarking long read sequencing technologies. The project will involve the use (and development) of secondary analysis pipelines to generate VCFs for review within Congenica’s clinical decision support software.
The candidate should be educated to MSc or PhD level in a relevant life sciences subject with proven experience of next generation DNA sequence data analysis and writing, improving and benchmarking secondary analysis pipelines. The type of work will be in a research environment where significant bioinformatics experience will be required as well as a good understanding of scripting/development in support of an R&D process.
The project can start asap but not later than July 1st 2020.
