NationWide Specialist Laboratories is a quality veterinary laboratory specialising in hormone testing and therapeutic drug monitoring for a variety of animals but mainly dogs, cats and horses. We receive samples from the UK and all over the world.

We require a conscientious person to join our small team to carry out work in the laboratory.

Duties will be sample reception and routine analytical work during the day and any other routine lab duties as required.

Essential skills required:

Good basic education
Good English, both written and spoken
Good IT skills
Calm and mature attitude with ability to work under pressure
Flexible and very conscientious attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Team orientated attitude
Ability to use initiative when required
Good manual dexterity and pipetting skills
Interest in science relating to animals

Experience in RIA/Elisa and PCR would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

Working hours are:

Monday – Friday 8.00 – 4.30 37.5 hours/week
