We are currently looking to recruit a junior LC-MS/MS scientist to expand our department based at the beautiful Babraham Research Campus. This is an exciting time to join our team as we scale up to support our growing global footprint and client base. THE ROLE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time junior LC-MS/MS scientist to broaden their experience in an expanding bioanalysis department that operates in both a research and GxP environment and is equipped with the latest Waters Xevo TQ-XS triple quadrupole instrumentation.
You will be responsible to the department head for the quantitative analysis of small molecules (both drugs and metabolites), peptides and proteins in a variety of biological fluids and tissues.
You will develop, validate and execute novel methods in accordance with guidance set by the European Medicines Agency.
You must have a strong background in quantitative bioanalysis and demonstrate awareness of the requirements to operate LC-MS/MS assays in a regulated environment.

Requirements
• A graduate or PhD with at least 1 year’s practical experience with LC-MS/MS.
• Experience in developing novel analytical methods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and an inquisitive nature.
• Highly organised and self-motivated with a track record of performing experiments with minimal supervision.
• Meticulous attention to detail in experimental report writing.
• Strong communication skills, with proven ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and work across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to review and assimilate new information rapidly and effectively.
• Excellent level of computer literacy.
