Therapies that treat cancer by re-training the patient's own immune system are coming to market in very small numbers, with over a thousand trials in the pipeline. Giving patients access to these requires a revolution in manufacturing and process automation. We are currently developing breakthrough technologies to enable this step-change and bring cell therapies to all who need them.
We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to join a new, ambitious venture within TTP creating novel automation solutions for cell therapy manufacture. This is a varied role that will include architecting, designing, testing, and improving processes, instruments and systems.
You will enjoy working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of Life Scientists, engineers and designers with a passion for solving worthwhile problems. As this is a new venture, you will be able to adapt as things evolve and turn changing requirements into elegant and robust solutions.
This is somewhere to really make your mark. Working in a technically challenging and impact-driven venture, with bright and ambitious peers.
Requirements
A strong academic background in Engineering - Electronics, Software or equivalent.
Deep skills in generating system architectures, ideally gained through previous experience in manufacturing systems or special purpose automation machines.
Development skills in manufacturing and/or process automation software (ideally, but not necessarily in a GMP bioprocessing environment).
A flexible and adaptable approach to work with an innovative, start-up mentality but with precision and diligence.
