New team sought for cancer immunology company

Epitopea is a new immuno-oncology company establishing operations in Cambridge, UK. We are based on the work of founding scientists at the Université de Montreal who have identified new sets of potentially shared tumour specific antigens (TSAs). Epitopea will fund the discovery of further TSAs, prioritise the most translatable, then seek to exploit them for cancer therapy via a number of modalities, including therapeutic vaccines, cell therapies and TCR-based biologics. In the medium term, Epitopea aspires to also open operations in Quebec.
Backed by a world-class syndicate of life-science investors, Epitopea has secured funding for 2.5 years of operations and now seeks its first employees. We are aiming to assemble a collaborative and ambitious team with a synergistic range of skills and backgrounds. We are open minded about the level of experience you may have gained in your career so far. More importantly, we want the members of our team to have the attitude and potential to thrive in an early stage start up where your work has few boundaries.
In terms of expertise, we have a need for molecular biology, in vitro immunology and protein engineering skills. A background in one or more of the fields of immuno-oncology, tumour microenvironment, T cell biology, TCR function, dendritic cell biology, CAR-T or TCR-T cells or even gene editing would be an advantage. We do not expect applicants to tick every box.
