Outline:

Leading biotechnology company in regenerative medicine and advanced therapies (gene and cell therapy) are looking to recruit an Interim Chief Scientific Officer/Head of R&D with significant ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product) development experience.

Role Purpose:

To drive an effective drug development strategy. Plan, coordinate and lead activities simultaneously on multiple programmes.

Requirements include:

• Have experience of gene and/or cell therapy drug development.
• Experience of creating cohesive Development Plans/Strategies to support fundraising for early stage biotech’s – experience of presenting to investors.
• Experience of working with early stage biotech companies; creating plans and fundraising models, with the willingness to be both strategic and hands-on where
resources and infrastructure is limited.
• Experience of reviewing therapeutic opportunities/indications and making sound scientific recommendations/business cases to the Board and investors on which
opportunities to advance.

Location: UK

Duration and days per week: 3-6 months, 3-4 days per week
