Team Administrator and PA (Part-time)

We are seeking an experienced and highly effective Team Administrator and PA to join the Training Team at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), which organises a world-renowned training programme reaching thousands of people each year.

Your role
You will work as part of a close-knit team offering an effective administrative service, reporting to the Events Manager. Your day-to-day duties will include making complex international travel arrangements, processing travel reimbursements, providing diary management at an executive level to the Head of Training and other similar tasks.

You have
This position would suit a highly motivated and dynamic self-starter, with experience of administrative support, preferably in an academic environment. You will have excellent organisational and communicative skills and some experience of PA support. The ability to demonstrate experience of working both independently as well as part of a team is important. An excellent working knowledge of Windows, MS office, email and web applications is required.

You might also have
Experience of organising events and working in an international environment is desirable but not essential. Database entry and analysis, and knowledge of project management tools may also be an advantage.
