Covid-19 brought some of the best of the Life Sciences sector into the spotlight; collaboration, innovation and a true sense of community. Attracting and enabling motivated people to create careers in our sector however has been a longer-term issue. The Government seeking a green recovery and Brexit will likely mean competition for talent will increase further, this challenge is not likely to decrease.
Moreover, investors are increasingly seeking ESG criteria within their portfolio, climate change is an on-going challenge and the diversity credentials of all businesses are now fully under the spotlight as talented employees are now seeking that sense of purpose in their current or next employer. What measures can Life Science companies take to increase their employer brand via excellent corporate citizenship irrespective of size?
