BioWednesday Webinar: Is the Workplace the Best Place to Train our Future Workforce?

16:00 - 17:00 Wednesday, 1 September 2021

Online registration is closed but if you would like to attend please contact alicia@onenucleus.com

Work-based learning opportunities offer many benefits to students and employers.  For students, these opportunities offer practical experience, network building and career development.  For employers, it is an opportunity to upskill your workforce with skills relevant to your business.  The Life Sciences Industrial Strategy aims to ensure we have the best talent, skills and people to support the needs of the sector.  As the sector continues to thrive and experiences convergence with new technologies, work-based learning programmes can help to meet the demands for new skills and experienced workers.

Our panel will discuss how employers can offer work-based learning covering internships, placements and apprenticeships.

For other relevant content, you can check out our on demand sessions Opportunities in Clinical Research and Conversations in Careers - The Wellcome Sanger Bioinformatics Apprentices both from the One Nucleus Building Life Science Adventures Conference 2021.
