Our client develops and manufactures market devices, systems & services for continuous wireless collection of real-time physiological data from patients.

The role holder will collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational and growth strategy, international expansion plans and hiring needs. They will develop the operational functions of the Company to become key added-value drivers of the business through ongoing efficiency improvements and increasing gross margins while maintaining the ability to rapidly meet customer and market requirements. A key element of the role will be translating strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operational planning.

The Role which could be a 1st time COO requires a technical background, knowledge & understanding of regulatory and quality management systems, and prior project/ operations management embracing diverse teams. The role holder will have relevant background such as Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Computer Science and significant relevant experience within the industry, ideally internationally. Relevant in-project management techniques and ideally experience gained in a company working within ISO13485 Quality Management System and the Medical Devices Directive / Regulations internationally; however, candidates who have a background in the rigours of R&D in another regulated market like aviation or automotive could also be of interest.
