The role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to play a key organisational role in the company. We are looking for someone to:

Drive process and procedural improvements including drafting company policies;
Create and amend documents, presentations and templates;
Support the CEO with board meeting preparation and minute taking;
Attend meetings, take minutes and ensure actions are recorded and followed up;
Schedule calls and meetings including arranging travel, venues, Zoom, Teams etc;
Process purchase requests;
Keep internal records up to date; and
General administration and office duties including stocking office consumables.
To thrive in this role you will have had significant similar experience in small/medium-sized companies, likely working at management or Board level. Experience within a startup company would also be beneficial.

We seek someone who is able to work on their own initiative and prioritise effectively. You must have excellent written English and should be a methodical and organised worker.

We are a small and growing team and we will be looking to you to identify and drive improvements to the way the business operates. Along with closely supporting our CEO, you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team including scientists, engineers, technicians and clinicians and dealing with external collaborators and suppliers; thus, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

This is a part-time, permanent role with the option to increase your hours, by mutual agreement, as the company grows. This role offers flexible working hours around core commitments.

Our offer

Start date January 2023.
Part time (40% to 60% FTE) with the option to increase as the company grows.

Salary range £28,000 to £34,000 pro rata, dependent upon your experience.
