SRG are recruiting on behalf of a growing CRO who work on behalf of a global customer base, supporting analytical activities for food and pharmaceutical products. They are looking to hire a Lab Manager within their Pharmaceutical Chemistry team to direct and support the analytical team.
Responsibilities of the role:
-To organise and manage the workload within the team to achieve the businesses goals and targets
-Liaise across departments to ensure tests are completed in a timely manner and within the customer defined requirements
-Monitor training levels and records within the team to ensure sufficient resource and flexibility
-Assist in the completion of complaint and anomaly investigations
To be successful in the role you will:
-Have an educational background in Chemistry
-Have experience in the management of analytical teams including involvement in the recruitment and development of staff
-Have experience in a Pharmaceutical Chemistry environment and the ability to troubleshoot methods
-Be able to make decisions and work autonomously
