Supporting the local NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme

With the first Covid-19 vaccines now available, the NHS across East of England is preparing extensively to deliver vaccines to eligible members of the population. This will be the biggest immunisation programme of our time and provides a unique opportunity for clinical and non-clinical staff to support our local community response to this international public health campaign.

Eastern AHSN is supporting their partners NHS England and NHS improvement and Health Education England in identifying and recruiting individuals who can give some of their time to support the COVID-19 vaccination programme across the East of England, particularly between January and April.

In summary, they are seeking support from local organisations to help recruit a range of clinical and non-clinical, paid and volunteer roles who can give some of their time to support the delivery of the new vaccination centres. Many of the roles offered can be done on a flexible basis. All staff involved in the programme will be fully supported and trained to deliver their role safely and effectively.
