Become a mentor for a rare disease patient group leader who needs YOU and your skills!
This is your chance to give something back to a community that has given so much to those living with a rare disease.
Not sure what skills or advice you have to offer? Just being a sounding board for patient group leaders is invaluable. You don’t need to have a background in rare diseases! You simply need to encourage and guide patient group leaders as they identify the support they need, help them fully evaluate their options and empower them to uncover new information to help them reach their goals.

Best of all, you’ll be able to view other mentees and mentors on the programme! You can not only see their skills and goals for the year, but also connect with them outside of your mentoring pair.
Access to Beacon’s Mentoring Facebook Group
Rather ask questions or give updates on your own time? Beacon has thought of that, too! You’ll gain access to Beacon’s new Mentoring Facebook Group to connect with your peers whenever suits your schedule.
