Bioinformatics Research Associate
We are currently looking for a Bioinformatics Research Associate. Your duties will include implementation of existing bioinformatic pipelines, and development of in-house workflows. Your role will require collaboration with the lab team to incorporate use of bioinformatics tools in decision making and in results analysis.
Experience in scientific programming (Python or R) and in use of bioinformatics pipelines are essential. Experience in the use and administration of Linux systems is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Bioinformatics, Synthetic Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related discipline. Further they will be able to demonstrate a high aptitude for learning and assimilating new skills and concepts. The successful candidate will possess excellent numeracy and IT skills.
