About Meatly
Meatly is a UK-based cultivated meat biotechnology company on a mission to make real meat, without animals. We take cells from a single chicken egg — just once — and use them to produce real, nutritious meat here in the UK, giving our pets the meat they need and crave without ever hurting another animal. We are the world's first company to receive regulatory approval to sell cultivated meat for pet food in the UK, and we are building the technology and production capabilities to scale that breakthrough globally.
Role Overview
We are looking for a technically rigorous, hands-on bioprocess technician to help us develop and scale the production processes that will define the future of cultivated meat manufacturing.
As a Bioprocess Technician at Meatly, you will sit at the interface of research and production — support lab activities, such as preparing solutions, buffers and culture media, assembling and sterilising bioreactors.
This is a broad, technically demanding role. You will work hands-on with bioreactors, analytical instruments, and cell culture systems on a daily basis. You will collaborate closely with cell biologists and bioengineers.
Reporting to the Bioprocess Engineering Lead, this role suits a scientist-engineer who is motivated by the challenge of supporting the development of manufacturing processes that have never existed before.
