Cambridge Wide Open Day

Date:
12 June

Cambridge has championed collaboration to become one of the leading science and technology clusters in the world. A reputation built on world-leading innovation, fast-growing science and tech companies, academia, and innovation centres - underpinned by investment, people and skills. To support and further progress this world-leading position requires inclusive collaboration across the Cambridge community.

Cambridge Wide Open Day is a long-term project offering the community – from science and technology enthusiasts and local residents – a unique opportunity to discover the city's world-class science and technology facilities all in one day.

Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2023, which welcomed over 600 visitors from scientists to residents to explore over 100 organisations that opened their doors and delivered a diverse range of talks, tours, demos, clinics, presentations, and more, Cambridge Wide Open Day 2024 aims to further strengthen the cluster's diverse, equitable, and inclusive community. Across the city, leading companies and innovation parks will open their doors to showcase their contribution to STEM innovation, rounding the day off with a garden party reception at the o2h co-works labs from 4 pm.
