Context:
The advantages of diversity in teams are increasingly well documented and accepted among first class employers. This applies equally to neurodiversity and with reports that an estimated 15% of the UK population being neurodivergent then embracing and understanding this type of diversity potentially opens the door to great talent, motivated teams and a business advantage. Equally, when considering the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease there are a number of misconceptions that are prevalent. The obvious symptoms get the attention, yet the less obvious often get overlooked and these can be top of a patient’s priority list to address whilst a cure remains in future R&D. Neurodivergence can apply to Parkinson’s Diseases sufferers too, so there is a synergy in bringing these two topics together
