Data Protection law is constantly evolving. The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (DUAA), which amends the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, implemented a number of changes during the early part of 2026 with the last provisions taking effect from 19 June. It introduced some new key changes for UK organizations.
