About the role
The Deputy Laboratory Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting the management of the Cancer Institute’s communal laboratory facilties and equipment across the Bloomsbury and Royal Free sites of the Cancer Institute. The role will be instrumental in delivering professionally managed high quality laboratory operations.The post holder will also provide support for a defined portfolio of activity supporting the Insititute Safety Advisor. The post holder, along with the wider team encompassing Safety and Buildings Management staff, will provide high quality resilient services supporting the Institute’s research and educational activities. The post holder will work in close collaboration with academic and professional services staff primarily within the Cancer Institute and across UCL as a whole.
