About the role:

The Impact, Reporting & Evaluation Lead plays a central role in helping the Institute understand, demonstrate and maximise its impact.

Working within the Strategy team, the role provides the Institute with a clear, evidence-based understanding of its strategic performance by leading evaluation of the Institute's strategy, generating insight from performance and impact data, and producing high-quality reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

As the Institute's expert in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), the role will establish and maintain frameworks that assess strategic outcomes, measure impact and support evidence-based decision-making. By synthesising data, evidence and learning from across the organisation, the postholder will help shape future strategic priorities and ensure that the Institute can effectively demonstrate the value and impact of its science.

This is an opportunity to build and embed a capability that will influence decision-making at the highest levels of the Institute and contribute to shaping its future direction.
