Administrative Assistant
SCENDEA is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our UK team in a full-time, office-based position.

About the Position:
Scendea is experiencing sustained high growth and success, leading to considerable expansion of its business operations following the management buy-out in 2018. With a global client base of innovative biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients the Business Development and Marketing teams are seeking support to enable efficient and effective operations.
The majority of the role will be two fold;
• Working with the Business Development team to administer the Partnering systems for conference meetings, sending invites and responding to enquiries until the meetings are arranged and communicated.
• Maintain and extract information from our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, Quality Management System (QMS) for the benefit of marketing campaigns and Policy updates.
The role will require a collaborative organiser that has a high attention to detail, as well as the ability to navigate a busy environment.
Location and Reporting Structure
The role will be office based in the UK, Bishop Stortford and report to the Finance and Business Development Manager.
Role
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Manage the partnering systems for the Business Development team.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System – Management
• Building, collating, updating and reviewing entries into the CRM for the entire organisation.
• Preparing new client list for mass data import into the CRM.
• At the request of department heads, running reports to pull essential information for day-to-day operations.
• Implementing and creating workflows to improve productivity in your daily tasks.
• Sending post-event client communications and handing over to Business Development team for Lead conversion.
• Verify new data and ensure system incorporation at month end.
• Provide wider administrative support to colleagues within the SCENDEA team.
• Manage travel arrangements for work engagements.
• Assist with Proposal generation and formatting.
• General office administration.
Essential Skills
• A degree level qualifications (BA, MSc etc).
• Ideally experience of working with Zoho or other CRM systems, but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Adaptability, flexibility and continuous enthusiasm
• Be highly proactive and demonstrate initiative
• High level of proficiency with IT, using Microsoft Office applications
• High level of integrity and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to work on your own as well as in a team
• Flexible and confident to create new processes
• Attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude.
