Associate/Research Scientist, In Vitro Pharmacology

About the role: As part of the in vitro Pharmacology team, the successful candidate will develop in vitro assays of different types and perform compound testing to support various drug discovery projects. The responsibilities will encompass maintaining cell cultures, data processing and upload into the Dotmatics database, compound management as well as data presentation in group meetings.

Requirements: Candidates should have at least B.Sc. in a relevant biology related discipline or considerable, relevant laboratory experience. The successful candidate will have experience in the development and use of robust microplate screening assays (96/384-well), such as luminescence/fluorescence-based techniques to monitor changes in cellular messengers (e.g., calcium and cAMP). Knowledge and experience of working with ion channels, enzymes and/or GPCRs is advantageous.
