Greenfield Opportunity - Help shape and design the future of Biocair’s Business Intelligence landscape!
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to work with stakeholders across all business functions defining KPIs and identifying areas for efficiency improvements and commercial opportunities using data and insights.

Key Responsibilities
• Working with stakeholders you will design and produce effective reporting that is easy to digest and understand.
• Help us to develop and, where it exists, fine tune existing reporting to ensure it is kept accurate and fit for purpose.
• Work with stakeholders to help them understand the data they require and the outcomes they are trying to achieve.
• Extract data from the central sources in a format as requested by business stakeholders.
• Monitor the usage of the reporting systems (both formal and informal) and make adjustments as necessary, e.g., updating old reports and removing any that are no longer required.
• Work with the wider Transformation team on automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Help identify trends that may lead to new commercial opportunities.
• Work with project teams to identify any data or reporting requirements at the start, throughout or at the end of projects.
• Complete reports as required that involve gathering data from multiple sources of data.
• Lead or contribute to the data-related projects or workstreams as required.
• Understand the key elements of the Business Intelligence and Data Analysis goals of the operation and organisation and make recommendations for improvement.
Thought Leadership and Knowledge Sharing
• Coach stakeholders and their teams to ensure they have the appropriate skills and knowledge to drive the business forward.
• Maintain a focus on industry trends and technologies to best support us as an organisation.
• Support the process of continuous improvement with the aim to reduce cost, improve quality and increase efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Have a broad understanding of Business Intelligence, specifically covering the areas below.
Experience of:
• Previous exposure of data analysis and report writing.
• Working with technologies such as Tableau, QlikView, SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Knowledge of SQL, ETL techniques, Data Visualisation methods and master data management.
• Responsible for the gathering of requirements from the business and translating their needs into deliverables.
• Automation of reports for users to ‘self-serve’
• Data visualisation tools such as Power BI would be advantageous.
• Ability to understand and find appropriate applications for data and analysis results.
• Previous exposure to business analyst tools such as( workflow generators, modelling and project management tools)
Awareness of:
• Innovative solutions and current trends
• Business Intelligence strategies and technical solutions
• Statistical analysis techniques including predictive analytics.
• Software development lifecycle
Academics/Academic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Intelligence or related field required.
• Extensive experience in a business intelligence or data analyst role.
