Our Cambridge based specialist pharmaceutical client acquires, develops and commercialises products that can address the unmet needs and rare diseases of patients managed in the hospital and specialist care environments. Reporting to the CEO, this is a new Leadership Team position and is critical to the company fulfilling its vision of bringing late phase pharmaceutical candidates through to commercialisation and preparing for being a public listed company.
The company is in a product acquisition phase and broadening its drug pipeline. A key responsibility is to provide leadership, development and ownership for the delivery of projects and Operations team, to develop competent and professional functions able to grow and ensure business goals and objectives are understood and communicated effectively. They will participate in setting corporate strategy, project objectives and milestones, and the delivery of projects.
Candidates to have a successful track record of exhibiting relevant senior operational experience and technical competence in the healthcare industry. They will possess the Leadership skills to provide vision, strategy and leadership to the highly talented team of individuals within Project Management, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Intellectual Property. They will have exceptional communication skills; to help inspire the team and to be able to present the vision and capabilities to alliance/licence partners, and shareholders.
