Investing Non-Executive Director – Digital Health – Commercial – Ref.: JVM280621V

VANN is a mission-driven digital health company in the oncology arena and is looking for an investing NED.

Their software helps cancer patients to self-report their vital information and well-being on a regular basis, including in remission and to share their experiences with their clinicians, caregivers and support network. They are also collecting real-world data from patients to support cancer research and drug development.

The founder of VANN has twice survived cancer. Sadly, she was not monitored outside of hospital in between her treatments and in remission, which made her journey far more complicated. Unfortunately, many cancer patients are currently living this reality, especially in the context of Covid-19. This is the reason why VANN was founded – it fulfils a critical need to ensure that cancer patients can self-monitor and report their symptoms in a timely fashion.

The company has been incubated and supported by Oxford University Innovation and has been supported by several other programs in the UK. They have made amazing progress so far and are currently planning a pilot study with a major cancer centre in the UK. This will be a crucial inflexion point towards raising further finance in Q4 2021.

Right now they are looking for an investing NED to join the Board at VANN. This NED will be supporting VANN’s further development and joining their mission to save lives.

The NED will:

Demonstrate resonance with the mission of VANN
Provide strategic leadership and support good governance.
Help develop and execute the strategy for VANN’s continued growth.
Work with the Founder/CEO to further develop skills and expand networks and partnerships e with pharma/life science companies
Help prepare the business for a fundraising round in Q4 2021
