About Homogenising Systems Ltd.:

Homogenising Systems Limited is a UK registered company specialising in the design, manufacture and global support of industry-leading specialist high pressure Homogenizers. The homogenisers are primarily used in pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic, food and advanced materials applications and range from laboratory scale for Research & Development purposes right through to production scale.

About the role:

To lead a project to develop and embed formulation and processing expertise relating to high pressure homogenisation applications which will develop expertise and a knowledge base that will guide users in selection of appropriate formulation and processing of products. You will undertake full analysis of current formulations, full analytical testing of products, establish methods to optimize size of disperse systems and assist on design and techniques for scale up.

You will have an MSc in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, Physical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, or relevant subject.

Experience and knowledge:

Research in formulation science, chemistry or relevant field

Experimental pharmaceutical research

Chemical processing

Modelling

Critical analysis of data using qualitative techniques

Colloidal technology and characterisations
