Sense is a start-up in-vitro diagnostics company based in Cambridge and Oxford UK. The company is developing a new class of molecular diagnostic test device for a range of clinical applications. Founded by an experienced and highly successful leadership team, Sense has ambitious plans to grow from its strong foundations and become a leader in the field. The company has significant backing from leading venture capitalist investors and is currently industrialising its first commercial products internally whilst also working with customers to develop other bespoke products.

Opportunity
This is a full-time role based at either the company’s Cambridge or Oxford facility and reporting direct to the company’s senior management team. The role is to manage a customer funded project to develop a new in-vitro diagnostic test which utilises a novel enzymatic detection technology. This will involve liaising with the client, creation and maintenance of project plans, writing of product documentation and general project administration. The role could encompass other responsibilities outside of this project for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in helping develop an impactful clinical diagnostic tool while supporting the wider growth of a dynamic organisation.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience in client facing project management ideally with direct experience in the IVD space. As a core part of a small project team preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to a variety of aspects of the product development and general project administration including e.g. quality and risk management. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and flexible to taking on a variety of tasks as is typical in a small organisation.

• Knowledge of relevant industry standards/regulations (e.g. ISO13485, ISO14971, IVDD/R)
