Cerevance is a well-established Biotech / Pharma harnessing a novel technology platform to deliver life-changing therapeutics for patients with central nervous system diseases.
Cerevance is generating unprecedented human CNS expression data sets, from which novel targets are being identified for innovative drug discovery programs. Using this approach, we have built a strong pipeline with projects at various development stages : target validation to lead optimization, as well as clinical stage.
We are seeking to recruit a motivated scientist with experience working with human tissues in the anatomical analysis of gene expression in the CNS.
Key responsibilities
The successful candidates will have human tissue laboratory experience, including - working to the standards required by the Human Tissue Authority, tissue banking, processing, sectioning, manual and automated immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization.
Human neuroanatomy and / or neuropathology experience preferred.
In collaboration with team members, the individual will contribute to early research and target validation programs through gene localization assays.
The candidates will be integrated into the human tissue / neuroanatomy team
Requirements
Successful candidates will be HepB immunized and bring at least 1-3+ years of relevant industry experience in a research pathology / human tissue environment.
