Scientist – Molecular Biology
Location: Lublin, Poland
Together with an innovative biotech company, based in Lublin, Poland, we are looking for an established scientist, a person eager to learn and do research in molecular biology and on recombinant proteins.
Ideal candidate should possess a MSc/PhD degree with several years of lab experience in GLP environment and a strong drive to work on innovative solutions to help patients.
Key Tasks:
· Isolation and purification of recombinant proteins
· Development and validation of in vitro assays aimed to verify target binding
· Working in the lab executing variety of assays
· Utilizing biochemical and molecular biology techniques
· Analyzing experimental results
· Preparing reports and presenting data at the scientific team meetings
Requirements:
· Knowledge in the area of biotechnology, biochemistry and molecular biology is necessary
· MScs/PhDs in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry with several years of laboratory work experience, especially in GLP environment, is much welcomed
· Highly energetic with hands-on experience in development and validation of in vitro assays aimed to verify target binding
· Experience in chromatographic protein purification and basic analysis of proteins (SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, ELISA), PCR, enzyme assays, caring on bacterial and eukaryotic cell culture is of highest importance.
· Willingness to learn and adopt new experimental techniques
· Strong analytical thinking
· Good knowledge of written and spoken English
