About the Role

The Senior Commercialisation Manager is an important position in the Biopharma team of QMI, who will manage a highly varied portfolio of projects principally from the Barts and London School of Medicine and Dentistry. You will seek out new opportunities, evaluate commercial value and working with our reserachers develop and implement commercialization strategies. You will work with a variety of stakeholders including academics, funders, licensees and investors.

About You

You will have a strong background in medical or life sciences with a PhD or business qualification. You will have demonstrable experience in successful technology commercialization with knowledge of drug development pathways. You will also have excellent communication and project management skills.

Queen Mary Innovation Ltd (QMI) is Queen Mary University of London’s wholly-owned technology transfer company and is responsible for the commercialization and management of the University’s intellectual property and portfolio of spinout companies. The team is based at the University Enterprise Zone in Whitechapel London. We offer hybrid working and the role will be based on site ideally 2-3 days a week (more if preferred). It is full time, permanent appointment. The starting salary will be up to £65,000 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance depending on experience.
