Your role in our team:
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with in-house recruitment experience ideally in Biotech/Pharma or similar, to support the scale up of a business that that values its people and wants to attract and retain the best talent. The successful candidate will work with the Talent Acquisition Partner to build a brilliant recruitment function at bit.bio.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing vacancies: You'll provide end-to-end management of assigned vacancies
Partnering with hiring managers: You'll be a trusted partner to our hiring managers and will provide great support and expertise throughout the recruitment process. You'll ensure we ultimately find the best talent for the role and bit.bio
Managing our agency partners: You'll be the key point of contact for the agencies you partner with for recruitment, and will ensure they are delivering a high level of service, and great candidates. You will liaise with them day-to-day and provide feedback
Direct hiring : You will adopt direct hiring methods for some vacancies
Candidate management: You will work to ensure candidates have a brilliant experience with bit.bio. You'll carefully guide each candidate through our process to ensure they exit, regardless of outcome, as an advocate for bit.bio. You'll take care of candidate screening, oversee interview scheduling and manage the offer process
Support Talent Acquisition projects: You will work with the TA Partner and Senior Director, People & Culture to build a brilliant recruitment function. Projects may include the development of an attractive Employee Value Proposition, improving Employer Branding & social media presence and the development of a hiring manager training programme

Managing a diverse range of vacancies from approval right through to offer and juggling a high volume of vacancies (15+ at a time)
Interviewing and assessing candidates
Using an Applicant Tracking System (preferably Greenhouse) to manage live roles and candidates

Experience recruiting in a scale-up or high growth environment
Experience directly sourcing candidates
A Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Business/Management, Life Science (or similar)
