London, 12 February 2024 – Barton House, located on Abingdon Science Park, is the latest purpose-built laboratory facility to come to the market in Oxfordshire. Kadans Science Partner (“Kadans”) continues to expand this established cluster of innovative businesses on Abingdon Science Park, providing highly capable and flexible laboratory and office accommodation for world leading science to flourish.

This BREEAM Excellent building is designed in two wings of differing sizes, with a 50/50 lab to office ratio, the building can house two separate companies, or provide a unique home for a single business in one of the UK’s prime scientific clusters. The Kadans team can support incoming occupiers in lab design to deliver a bespoke turnkey fit-out allowing for a smooth transition into the building.

The completion of Barton House also brings with it the opening of a brand-new café, adding much welcomed amenity to Abingdon Science Park, enhancing the well-being of occupiers and visitors. Run by Houston & Hawkes, the UK’s only B corp certified caterer, the café will also serve as a point for collaboration and networking opportunities for the scientific Ecosystem in Oxfordshire and the wider community.

Properties within the Park are jointly leased by specialised science and technology advisors DTRE and Bidwells.
