LabKey Announces Date for First UK User Event

LabKey, a US-based custom informatics solution provider, offering a freely-accessible, enterprise-quality, open source software platform to help research organisations solve their research data challenges.

In February 2016, LabKey opened its UK office, appointing Dr Jason Leadley, as its Director of European Operations. Relying heavily on engagements driven by the download and use of its open source, Community Edition of its core software platform, LabKey Server.

LabKey's most significant UK engagement is with Genomics England, on the pioneering 100,000 Genomes Project, where it is used to integrate patient, demographic, clinical, phenotype and patient sample data into a central data repository, where is is then partitioned and surfaced to clinical researchers for interrogation and analysis, via dedicated, secure web portals.

Three years on, LabKey is running its first ever UK Customer Meeting, inviting existing users and interested parties to attend a half-day networking event, where use cases and example configurations of LabKey will be showcased.
