Who are we? 
BioLizard is a growing consultancy company providing data science solutions for our customers in biotech and pharma. Typically, a lizard adjusts to its surroundings, and that is exactly what we do. At BioLizard, we adapt to our customers’ data environment! The research field is rapidly becoming more data-driven, where we strive towards offering state-of-the-art bioinformatics, statistics, and machine learning solutions to help solve our customers’ biological questions. Our bioinformaticians are embedded in the working environment of our customers in a full-time or half-time regime, collaborating on challenging projects in life science. 

As a project manager, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting multidisciplinary projects within biotech and biopharma spanning data science, bioinformatics, software development, and machine learning disciplines. You will define, set up, and manage projects with our Scientific Project Leads and Lizards and make sure they are delivered on time, with quality, and within budget. You will work closely with your fellow project manager(s) and Head of Operations, to whom you report, to make sure work is allocated across the organisation in the most optimal way. In addition, you will steer resource capacity planning across teams and projects, take ownership of key business-supporting responsibilities such as business process improvements, compliance follow-up, and accurate and timely invoicing. You will also work closely with the Sales and Marketing team by helping them translate business opportunities into concrete offers and supporting internal pre-sales activities.
