It has been a very tough year for the sector and most in it for certain, and I and the One Nucleus team would like to thank all of our sponsors, members and network for your unwavering support as we have sought to enable your respective 2025 journeys. As the office and laboratory lights start to dim for the festive break, as the data points and sentiment appear to be leaving towards an optimistic mood for 2026 in many quarters, it is a pleasure to write and highlight some key dates for your diaries where we will again be looking to enable our network to be informed, connected and placed into deal-making environments. The event will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions and company pitches from both Flanders and the UK, with ample time for networking and connections to be made. 19 March – One Nucleus Annual Awards Dinner Held at the prestigious 11 Cavendish Square, London, the evening will be the black-tie celebration of success and excellence across the One Nucleus ecosystem. Entries are open, and there are categories to include all stakeholders. 23 March – RESI Europe, Lisbon RESI (Redefining Every Stage of Investment) Europe Conference rolls into Lisbon. followed by two days of virtual partnering on 24–25 March, 2026. Discounts available for One Nucleus members. 23–25 March – BIO-Europe Spring, Lisbon BIO-Europe Spring brings together over 3,700 leading executives from around the world, hosting more than 20,000 partnering meetings between biotech companies, startups and academia with pharma companies and forward-thinking investors. Discounts and enhanced profiling opportunities are available to One Nucleus members. 27-30 April – One Nucleus Boston Bootcamp The third edition of the initiative to enable winners to learn, connect and do business in the world’s #1 life science ecosystem. Entries are open now! Winners receive flights, accommodation and the on-location programme. Watch this space for a new addition this year!! 14 May – BioBeat 2026 For the first time as part of the One Nucleus stable, BioBeat will bring together leaders across the life science field in its traditional intimate format to debate the hot topics and future directions. 22–25 June – BIO International Convention, San Diego The annual global gathering arrives. Watch out for updates on discounts and One Nucleus satellite events and details of RESI San Diego. 9 July – ON Helix 2026 The One Nucleus translational research conference will be held at the Babraham Research Campus, assembling delegates to discuss, debate and decide on how future bio-innovation may be disrupted. 9-11 November – BIO-Europe, Cologne BIO Europe will bring together over 5,000 leading executives from around the world for this now cornerstone bio-partnering event. Discounts and enhanced profiling opportunities are available to One Nucleus members. 10 December – Genesis 2026 Plans are already underway to build upon the success of this month’s Genesis conference that saw a 40% year-on-year increase in delegate numbers, greater international presence and an impressive company-type distribution over the previous year.
