An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Bids Coordination Lead to join the Directorate, supporting the development and delivery of high-value, strategically important research funding opportunities at the John Innes Centre.

About the John Innes Centre:

The New Product Introduction Engineer will perform a critical role in the successful transfer of designs from the development to production. Working as part of a small, dynamic Product Development team, you will help to develop and support the manufacture CN Bio’s best in class Organ-on-a-Chip technology. A major focus of this role is ensuring that manufacturing teams have access to complete, accurate, and robust documentation that enables consistent product quality, effective training, and smooth transfer of new products into production.

Chemical Development:

The Instrument Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging CN Bio instruments, fluidic consumables, and associated sub-assemblies in accordance with approved engineering drawings, work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards. This includes conducting fluidic consumable testing, completing production and quality documentation, and maintaining full product traceability in line with CN Bio’s Quality Management System.

This post holder will be based in Tina Schreier’s group, in the Crop Genetics department of the John Innes Centre.
