2025 EMBL-EBI–Sanger Postdoctoral (ESPOD) Fellowship Programme

EMBL-EBI and Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute share the Wellcome Genome Campus. This proximity fosters close collaborations and contributes to an international and vibrant campus environment. Researchers are supported by easy access to scientific expertise, well-equipped facilities and an active seminar programme.

The EMBL-EBI–Sanger Postdoctoral (ESPOD) Programme builds on the strong collaborative relationship between the two institutes, offering projects which combine experimental (wet lab) and computational approaches.

Proven Management Teams - One of the Keys to Success in the Life Science Industry

In an article in Pharmexec, May 2024, the author identified seven essential attributes that investors look for before investing in Life Sciences. Among the seven was a “proven management team”. And this was described as “paramount”.

I remembered seeing something similar in Excedr’s online piece on ‘Top VC Firms for Biotech in 2024: Supporting Innovation & Growth’, where they cited “fostering a strong management team” as “the biggest factor that smart investors consider”.

RESI Boston

RESI Boston 2025, a key component of Biotech Week Boston, will take place on September 17 at the Westin Copley Place, followed by two days of virtual partnering on September 18-19. This hybrid format combines the benefits of in-person networking with the flexibility of online interactions. The Westin Copley Place, serving as the RESI venue, is strategically located just a 10-minute walk from the Hynes Convention and Exhibition Center, the main hub for Biotech Week Boston events.
