At Laverock we have an exciting opportunity for a talented and highly motivated Research Associate to join an exciting new business venture focused on applying the company’s proprietary gene silencing platform (GEiGS) to the development of novel human therapeutics.  The GEiGS technology facilitates Stable, Tunable and Programmable silencing activity that differentiates it from alternative gene editing or gene regulation approaches, and specifically enables production of programmable, next-generation cell and gene therapies, addressing many current limitations.

The Cortes-Ciriano group studies the mutational processes and mechanisms of genome instability underpinning tumourigenesis, immune escape, and drug response through the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data from clinical samples. The group is also leading the development of novel approaches for early cancer detection using long-read sequencing. More information about the group can be found here.
