Human Biological Samples (HBS) sit at the heart of clinical research, enabling the discovery, development and delivery of new treatments and diagnostics. As ethically sensitive materials, they underpin every clinical trial and demand rigorous handling and oversight. The Senior Biobank Scientist maintains and develops the HBS inventory in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), global standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring samples are received, logged, stored, tracked, despatched, returned and disposed of appropriately.

This campaign will help drive further transformational growth, from income across major donors, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners. Bicycle Therapeutics is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing a novel class of medicines, referred to as Bicycle® molecules, for diseases that are underserved by existing therapeutics. Bicycle molecules are fully synthetic short peptides constrained with small molecule scaffolds to form two loops that stabilize their structural geometry. This constraint facilitates target binding with high affinity and selectivity, making Bicycle molecules attractive candidates for drug development.
